Are You Ready For Version 2.0 Of Your Business?

Strategy

Is it about time you evolved your business in the way you’re wanting to?  All the ideas for growth, new services, a different take on your messaging?

I know first hand how easy it is to let all your ideas and plans stay in a notebook, or your head and never quite make it out into the world.  And while that’s okay for a while, the longer those plans stay unfulfilled, the greater the feeling of frustration, heaviness and resignation to the fact that you’re just not going get to where you always thought you would, and if you sat and reflected you actually have a great business already so why do you want anything different?

You want something different, better, more fulfilling because you have developed personally and professionally over time and you want to bring those skills, passions and ideas to your people.

You want to make lives and businesses even better than you do now, and to do to that means you need a new version of both you and your business.

It’s time to stop your scroll! Stop signing up for webinars and PDF freebies that you probably don’t need and go back to basics.  Do what you know and mould it to what you need now and in the future.  Uncover your blind spots and focus on the new knowledge you need to learn.

Business evolution is one of the best parts of running your own business. You can read here about how I have evolved my own business over the years, and how now I’m embarking on the next phase, while keeping my foundational business activities strong.

A new version of your business requires a different level of systems, a different approach to growth, delivery and operations. The old saying of “what got you here won’t get you there” couldn’t be closer to the truth! It can be easy to assume you’ll need to change how you do everything you’ve built (or you might just want some shiny new tech!) but you probably don’t.

To make change sustainable you need to ease into a new way of working.

Test your new business foundation system by system before you move completely into version 2.0 of your business. That way, you’ll know what needs to change for operational reasons and what you already have that will continue to serve you, without going all in and realising that a big piece is missing.  You’ll probably be surprised how much of your existing systems will support what you need, which will make the transition so much easier.

But the mechanics are only part of the formula, your mindset makes up a huge part of confidently stepping into your next level. The more we do something day in day out the more it almost becomes part of our business DNA, we can almost be on autopilot having honed our skills, delivery and client experience to be first class. We’re confident and self assured.

Enter a new service offering, new team members, increased revenue, and along with that comes self doubt, imposter syndrome, a lack of direction – are you even sure you know what you’re doing?

This is where not only having a solid operational foundation matters, but having a strong mindset matters even more. To nurture tools you need in decision making, discipline, intentional action and momentum can be as valuable as the system you have for managing client onboarding.

The challenge can be how you work out what which parts of your business mechanics and mindset you need to review to mean you can confidently step in to the next version of your business with ease, flow and simplicity.

To conquer that challenge is why I created Mindset and MechanicsTM.

To help established business owners find their perfect formula to accelerate their, growth, impact and business happiness!  All will be revealed at the end of March, but if you’re not already subscribed to my newsletter, and you’d like to know more, sign up here! It’s something I have been working on for a long time and I can’t wait to share more.
